The SC Progressive Network is hosting a meeting about the opportunities and challenges of the SCOUT electrical vehicle plant being constructed in Blythewood. The state has offered SCOUT $1.3 billion in incentives for the facility that will take three years to complete, cover 1,100 acres and hire 4,000 employees.

Our members and allies in Blythewood and the adjoining communities who have questions, concerns, or may want a job, are invited to attend.

The meeting is organized by Jobs With Justice, a national organization the Network has along relationship with, that helps communities dialogue with huge corporations to identify and work to resolve problems before they happen.
