We will mark the Zinn Education Project’s national Teach Truth Day on June 7 by gathering Modjeska Simkins School students and allies on the SC State House steps for a short speak-out. Come show your support for teaching a true people’s history in the Palmetto State.

Join us at 2pm for a brief program with the school’s lead instructor, Dr. Robert Greene II, and Brett Bursey, SC Progressive Network ED. Alumni and graduates will be invited to share a few words.

We will also use the occasion as a photo op to help promote the school’s 2026 session and our new satellite viewing sites.
