From the economic sanctions imposed by the Eisenhower administration\, to the abortive Bay of Pigs invasion under Kennedy\, to the Trump regime’s posting of Cuba on its list of state-sponsored terrorism (SST)\, Cuban has endured economic hardships\, sabotage\, assassination attempts and terrorist bombings intended to “bring about hunger\, desperation\, and the overthrow of [the Castro] government.”\n\nTy dePass is a founding member of Asere\, a cadre formation reaching out to activists engaged in ongoing struggles for social justice and equity in the US.
