The SC Progressive Network has been getting messages from members and allies across the state who are alarmed by the election outcome and its implications. Every 1st and 3rd Thursday, 8-10pm: Join friends for a casual night of live music by some of Columbia's finest. If you have talent, you are invited to sit in with the band for a tune or two. No cover charge. Free snacks; beverages available for purchase.

As American Christians turn to singing about the "Little Town of Bethlehem," Palestinian Christians (along with all Palestinians in the occupied territories) face a brutal reality under an apartheid system. We will hear from Carolina Peace Board Member Brittany Boone who recently traveled to the West Bank this Fall to assist with the Olive Harvest.

CANCELLED! Our regular 1st-Thursday jazz workshop has been cancelled to give the band a break. Many of them have been busy doing gigs over the holidays, and we want them to have a chance to rest. We'll see you on Jan. 16!
